I just watched a few of these on youtube.com. They're all pretty pathetic, but this one really stood out:

Actually, yes, this was hideous. I tried to give this pick the benefit of the doubt, but we are far beyond doubt here. This business about having foreign policy experience by being in close proximity to Russia is laughable. I thought only her proxies were saying it, but here she is reiterating it.
It did strike me watching some of these that Katie Couric would make a far better VP candidate than Palin. Maybe McCain could somehow make that switch.

You're right about Couric, I thought the same thing. She has a much better handle on the issues than does Palin. Good journalists always come off as more honest and less partisan than the politician they interview, but I've never seen one run circles around the interviewee on policy knowledge like this.
